Mr. David Goldwich
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, USA, David Goldwich has been living in Singapore and working throughout Asia since 1999. He has MBA and JD degrees and practiced law in the United States for more than ten years, arguing before judges and advocating before political, governmental, and community bodies. David is trained as a mediator and has experience managing a small business as well.
Recognizing that lawyers perpetuate rather than solve problems, David began lecturing and training in 1995. He has taught at the tertiary level in the USA and in Singapore. As a trainer, David applies the “80/20 Rule” by identifying the few critical tools necessary for the greatest improvement and presenting them in a form that is simple to learn and simple to use. Mr. Duncan Williamson
Duncan Williamson has worked internationally as an accounting professional, lecturer and trainer for many years. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Duncan began his international work in 1988 when he started a five year posting to the University of Malawi where he was an Associate Professor of Accounting. Having moved on from there, Duncan has lived and worked in Central and South Asia, the Middle East, Mexico, the Caucasus and the Far East, including Thailand, where he now lives, Singapore, Malaysia and VietNam.
Duncan has been training in the area of IFRS and financial reporting for over a decade following assignments in the Causcasus and Central Asia in which he worked in USAID projects that were given the remit of setting up IFRS based accounting regimes in Armenia, first of all, then the former Soviet Union. This work included setting up a curriculum for the certification of professional accountants and developing training materials for that purpose.
Since then, Duncan has trained a large number of IFRS trainees in the Middle East, Thailand and for Oil and Gas based delegates from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Lybia, Egypt and Nigeria.
Mr. E.H.J. Janssen
Mr. E.H.J. Janssen is an accredited assessor, trainer and practitioner for Ed Janssen studied chemical technology, inorganic materials at the Technical University Twente in the Netherlands and has over 25 years working experience with Shell. He is an active independent consultant and trainer in the area of risk management systems, organizational culture and incident investigation acting in a network of specialists. In addition he was the lecturer and consultant to the Shell E&P Learning Centre for many HSE courses delivered by the centre & redesigned and updated several HSE courses on behalf of the Shell Learning Centre recently.Tripod Beta, experienced trainer and consultant for BowTie Risk Analysis & Hearts and Minds program. Mr. Fahim Ahmed
30 years of experience in Aviation Quality Management Systems, aviation MRO and aircraft manufacturing. Fahim has worked as Deputy Chief Project Director aircraft manufacturing and Chief Engineer Joint Working Group at Center for Aircraft Design Institute China. He received his Aeronautical Engineering degree from NED and did his Masters in Engineering Management from Air University Pakistan. Fahim Is Lead Auditor QMS ISO 9000 series and implemented the system at an overhaul and manufacturing setup in Pakistan Aeronautical complex followed by transformation to AS9100 standard. Fahim has received his NDT & DMIS training from P&W USA and remained associated as Deputy Chief Engineer QMS with P&W 220E engine up gradation program for four years .In addition he has served as Chief engineer Programmed Depot Maintenance C-130 aircraft as well. His successful project collaboration in aviation spans over following international organizations.
He is currently CEO of Warping Wing Aero, providing assistance in aviation systems, manufacturing audits, QMS certification, training and high tech security management services.

Mr. Jamie King
Professional Petroleum/Well Engineer, with nearly 30 years of experience in various aspects of subsurface engineering. Extensive project management experience in delivery of large scale oil and gas field development, abandonment, HPHT and subsea projects. Petroleum Engineering experience includes specialist skills in Petrophysics and Production Technology. Well Engineering skills include Well Construction (conventional, HPHT and SMART), DST/Completion/Well Testing design and field supervision. Registered as a Chartered Physicist, Chartered Scientist and Chartered Engineer. BSc. (Hons), and Post-Graduate Management Qualifications. Worked for major international (Shell/BP), national and independent operator companies worldwide as Field Development Project Manager, Wells/Reservoir Manager, and Drilling Manager. Also previously trained and registered as a UKCS Offshore Installation Manager, and UKCS Statutory Duty Holder.
Mr. Jan Pranger
Mr. Jan Pranger has over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry in engineering and consulting, mainly in the safety field. He studied Chemical Technology at the Delft University of Technology (1987) and started his career at a major international engineering & consultancy company where he acquired extensive consulting and design skills in many branches of industry. In 1998 he started his own firm, mainly focused on process safety. He obtained a post-doc degree in Management of Safety, Health and Environment in 2005. He serves a wide variety of clients, including oil & gas, (petro)chemicals, tank storage, but also permitting authorities and national accident investigation boards.
His main consulting activities are Risk Analyses and Safety Studies (HAZOP, LOPA, FTA, ETA, HIRA, HAZID, Bow-Tie), Incident Investigation (Tripod Beta), Safety Management Systems, Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) and other safety disciplines. And above all, he likes to share his experience and skills as a trainer and coach. At the end of his training, participants walk away with hands-on skills that they can apply next day.
Mr. John Lane
John is an independent energy and project management / engineering Consultant for the oil and gas industry and owns and operates his own consulting company, “Ocean Energy Consulting LLC”.
John is a Chevron retiree; he was a project manager for the Chevron N. America Corporation in Texas. He has over 40 years of experience managing complex projects including floating production vessels in the oil and gas industry. John also has extensive project experience managing engineering, construction, commissioning and start up into operations and hand-over. John commenced his career as an electrical engineer working on high voltage transmission systems in the UK, and has designed many major power systems for refineries, petrochemical plants and various offshore facilities including the first all electric topside for a floating production facility.
He has worked for Unocal Corporation, MODEC International and Enron Oil & Gas. He holds an M.Sc degree from Lancaster University and is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of The Energy Institute. John has lectured and presented papers at many prestigious institutions including The Houston Offshore Technology Conference. John has been teaching in the University of Texas PETEX program for 14 years.
Prior to semi retiring John was an active committee member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Gulf Coast Section, and is still active with The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). John was Vice Chair of the Houston Branch of The Energy Institute responsible for Membership and mentored many of the graduate engineers.
Mr. John Sharp
John Sharp is a high performance coach facilitator with a wealth of expe-rience. He has over 40 years experience in industry, including oil and gas and shipping and stevedoring both in Australia and overseas. He also has extensive experience in design-ing and facilitating health & safety initiatives and was instrumental in creating Woodside Energy’s Health, Safety & Environment competence model. He has developed a number of world-class behavioural based training programs to deliver those competences. Mr. Mohammad Naseem

He represented his country in Defense Exhibitions IDEF May 2007 and Oct 2011 in Turkey, BRIDEX in Brunei in July 2011, and DESi in England in Oct 2011. He also visited Bangladesh to conduct Trial firing of 125 mm APFSDS ammo. He also visited China, Egypt, Austria and Belgium in official obligation to inspect plant and machinery.
He has experience in quality Assurance and Maintenance areas. He has had the honor of raising a new department of Safety and Internal Audit in his organization in 2007 which has now developed into fully functional department and helped in saving millions of Rupees through the disposal of redundant and surplus materials. He was been honored with 3 commendation certificates for high production rate of meeting his annual targets.

Mr. Paul Allen
Paul Allen has over 30 years’ experience in Marine & Engineering expertise. He is a licensed master mariner (oceans) and Oﬀshore Installation Manager (OIM, Unrestricted),holds a B.S. in Marine Engineering & Transportation, US Merchant Marine Academy; MBA in General Management, Rice University; and PhD research in Change Management, University of Wales, Cardiﬀ. He is Chairman/CEO of the Project Executive Group, a Houston-based organization of professionals providing project advisory, execution and training services. Mr. R B Fox
Tripod Beta Practitioner, Training Facilitator and by invitation of the Netherlands based Stichting Tripod Foundation an Appointed Tripod Beta Assessor.For over a decade Bob has facilitated incident investigations using Tripod Beta Methodology. These included 28 fatalities, aviation incidents, armed robberies, hijacking, road tanker incidents and business process upsets.Bob has 25 years experience in oil and allied industries. For 12 years he managed operational training in distribution activities for Shell Southern Africa.He holds a National Diploma in Safety Management through UNISA, with a mechanical engineering background he has worked in petrochemicals, chemicals, road tanker operations, and construction. Since 1999 he has been active as an independent consultant and has developed HSE Cases, investigated incidents and delivered operational and HSE learning events for contractors working for multinational oil companies. Commissioned by Shell International E&P, he incorporated the Hearts and Minds Programsinto HSE Workshops for Frontline Supervisors and delivered these in Europe, Africa, middle and far east. Bob has preferred provider status with the Energy Institute UK for his work with Frontline Supervisors implementing Hearts & Minds programs.
Mr. R. J. (Boo) Boocock
R. J. (Boo) Boocock began his career in the Geological Research & Services Group at Gulf Canada. Working with some of the best minds in the industry enabled him to gain an excellent understanding of the many disciplines that all play important roles in the oil & gas business. A strong bridge was established between those working the fine theoretical aspects and those seeking to take these learnings and applying them in a practical manner to day-to-day Operations. Seeking to shift the paradigm, Boo spent a lot of his time offshore providing an onsite supervisory role to on-going evaluations (logging, coring, testing, sampling). Mr. Sampe Purba
Sampe L. Purba, currently holds function as Lead Specialist Business Support Management in SKKMIGAS used to be known as BPMIGAS. Mr. Stephen Harris
Steve Harris has been working in the marine insurance market in London for over 40 years. During this time he has underwritten at Lloyd's of London for over thirteen years and spent seven years as the Assistant Hull & Liability Underwriter at Cornhill Insurance Plc (part of the Allianz Group), and for the past 20 years has been a broker within the Marine Practice of Marsh.
Steve was made Senior Vice President of Marsh Marine in 2005 and while still continuing to be active in broking marine hull and liability business in London, his seminars and lectures on marine insurance are sought around the world and he is regularly asked to speak at international conferences on maritime matters, recently at an Arctic Hub conference in Helsinki, Finland and in 2015 was invited to present a paper on maritime risk at the prestigious Royal Institution in London, receiving considerable acclaim. Steve is also a regular lecturer on marine subjects at the Lloyds Maritime Academy in London, for the Singapore College of Insurance and has lectured a number of times for the Chartered Insurance Institute in London.
Steve sits on the Marine Insurance Education Council in London and also sits on an industrial advisory board for the universities of Cambridge, Cranfield, Birmingham and Newcastle in the UK.
Mr. Syed Adeel Hussain
